Represented Poland at the Third Committee during the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Contributed to the delivery of Adamed Foundation educational programs by supporting the recruitment process, conducting school outreach meetings promoting the program, and leading workshops for Vietnamese students as part of the Foundation’s Vietnamese educational initiative.
Selected as the top student in Poland in medicine and biomedical sciences. Completed two one-year courses in neuroscience and human physiology.
Invited as the 2023 recipient of the Debinski Award to join the Debinski Lab at Wake Forest School of Medicine, part of a leading NCI-designated Cancer Center in the US. Contributed to translational neuro-oncology research and early-stage clinical trials on a glioblastoma therapy. Applied bioinformatic methods to investigate mRNA expression patterns and assess the relevance of glioblastoma-specific therapeutic targets in other tumor types.
Observed pacemaker implantations and left atrial appendage closures, acquiring basics in ultrasound and ECG. Witnessed patient qualification for heart transplantation.
Conducted an independent Extended Essay research project on alternative methods of preventing endocarditis in patients with artificial heart valves, working on a volunteer basis at the Department of Microbiology and Laboratory Medical Immunology, Medical University of Lodz. Investigated the antibacterial effects of three naturally derived substances on S. epidermidis. Presented the project at scientific competitions and conferences in Poland and abroad.
Gained insight into preparing patients for polysomnography and analyzing sleep study records. Enhanced understanding of the Polish National Health Fund operations.
