Worked as staffing services officer in Agency recruitment team and handled day to day operations. · Provide staffing services to line managers in the areas of external recruitment, the internal selection process and internal resource balancing process. Provide advice and assist in the implementation of selection programs. Assist in the administration of special staffing programs such as graduate operator and student development. · Act as liaison between line managers and agencies and handling all communications · Manage full life cycle recruitment, specialising in hard to fill roles, senior and leadership roles. · Handle rate negotiations, interview scheduling, candidate assessments, and offer process · Handle various queries on security clearance verification, rehire verification and restricted reengagement verification and obtain exception approvals where required. · Handle all steps in onboarding and closing a requisition. · Regularly utilize all OPG software applications like AS9, TIMS, Servicehub, MyTime, Real Suite/Fix to handle the day to day work. · Very well versed with vendor management and contract management · Working with supply chain to handle PO management · Working with various stake holders to ensure smooth running of the augstaff program and handle process improvement initiatives. · Handling a barrage of day to day activities in the inbox
· Identify, source and engage candidates from a variety of fields through creative and innovative sourcing approaches. Special focus on hard to fill roles, senior managers, VPs and C level recruitment. · Handle end to end recruitment journey from pre recruitment consultations to onboarding for our clients like Ontario ministry of health, PHSA - BC, Nova Scotia Health Authority, and other public sector organisations. · Review, pre-screen and interview candidates to determine appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. · Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruiting cycle (i.e. communicate status, answer questions and coordinate all follow-up efforts) · Facilitate the hiring process, including but not limited to negotiate and generate compensation packages, produce job offer letters, conduct background, reference verifications, and onboarding. · Strategically generating, identifying and leveraging multiple sourcing avenues to ensure that I am continually attracting top talent in the market. · Actively utilize social media and online tools to recruit talent. · Monitor social and online platforms, initiative activities to improve employer brand online · Participate in career or job fairs
