• Engagement with manufacturing companies to identify technological challenges and deliver tailored transformation services through open innovation, including technology scouting and proof-of-concept projects. • Support of startups and scaleups in business model development, commercialization strategies, investment planning, and visibility enhancement. • Facilitate collaboration and networking across Spanish and Portuguese manufacturing corporates, SMEs, and research centers to strengthen the ecosystem. • Building strategic partnerships, identifying market trends, and contributing to innovation strategies to support the creation of competitive and sustainable manufacturing in Spain and Portugal.
• Marketing research activities: Scouting and Interviewing Customers and Partners. Examination of their market footprint, technological maturity, and strategic fit for collaboration. • Innovation through Design Thinking workshops. Co-creation with prospects, fintech partners and start-ups. Consultancy on Problem Analysis and Solution design: Diverging and Converging in both spaces, aiming to define customer needs to first ideate value propositions and then validate new business models (e.g. usage-based, X-as-a-service, embedded, etc.). • Customer facing role at insurtech / fintech events and fairs as delegate or speaker, representing the firm internationally. • Agile practitioner, looping in customer requirements for the development of software use cases (e.g. risk management, sustainability) based on industry 4.0 building blocks (connectivity, cloud, edge, etc.). • Awareness of the regulatory frameworks affecting the finance and insurance sectors (EU Taxonomy, CSRD, IFRS, GHG protocol, Scopes 1-3, etc.).
• Implementation of low-code/RPA digitalization tools and data models to automate manual processes making them LEAN, ensuring compliance with internal Underwriting & Risk guidelines (from KYC / Credit to Technical Risks), reducing the bid elaboration throughput time, and capturing sales insights for the Continuous Improvement.
• Bid management for Services and Equipment-as-a-Service opportunities in the European region. • Application of Systemic Thinking to assess how the Customer’s Business (e.g. customer internal or outsourced resources) and Technical Ecosystems (e.g. IoT) will influence own Service Operations: Scope of Works, KPIs, SLAs. • Determination of Long-Term Risk Management Strategies during Pre-sales for Post-sales execution and provisioning: Risk Assessment and Underwriting. • Customization of the Service Value Propositions to fit them into Customer Requirements • Subject matter expert for Project Finance and Servitization in the organization. Management of network of Finance partners (Equipment Finance, Private Equity, Leasing, etc.) to select the right structure for the business model. • Internal stakeholder management under a Matrix organization (Business Group and Commercial orgs.) with cross-functional collaboration with Legal and Finance functions.
• Bid Management for Systems & Services (Lifecycle and Managed) Proposals. • Customer-facing role, supporting the Commercial Development of the Service Business with End-Users accounts and ESCOs in the territory. • Consultative selling approach for uncovering and understanding customer needs. Elaboration of Commercial Proposals (RfP). • Finance Modelling linked with Value-based Pricing Strategies based on Total Cost of ownership, Energy efficiency, and further customer’s Benefits attainable (e.g. sustainability) by the Systems & Services. • Contract drafting. • Business case assessment based on project performance according to customer's KPIs (IRR, NPV, etc)
