- Lead the legal function across corporate, regulatory, commercial, insurance and fleet-related matters, supporting the company's operations, growth and strategic initiatives. - Oversee corporate governance across the group, including board and shareholders' matters, powers of attorney and corporate structuring initiatives. - Lead the negotiation and implementation of complex commercial and fleet transactions, including aircraft and engine leases, acquisitions, novations, amendments and maintenance agreements. - Coordinate regulatory matters and approvals with local and international aviation authorities in support of operational and expansion initiatives. - Oversee the company's aviation, D&O and general liability insurance programs, including broker and insurer relationships. - Led the legal workstream for ACMI fleet incorporation initiatives, coordinating contractual, regulatory and operational matters with lessors, operators, service providers and aviation authorities. - Manage external counsel and support strategic projects involving fleet development, airport operations and commercial partnerships.
- Supported the company’s operational recovery and growth initiatives following the COVID-19 crisis, with a focus on fleet, commercial and regulatory matters. - Participated in legal workstreams related to fleet expansion, supplier negotiations, regulatory procedures and the relaunch of operational capacity. - Negotiated and managed commercial, operational and supplier agreements across Finance, Commercial, Technical and Operations areas. - Advised internal stakeholders on corporate governance, contractual and regulatory matters in connection with the company’s recovery and expansion strategy.
- Supported the company’s legal workstreams during the COVID-19 crisis, operational suspension and subsequent restructuring process. - Participated in negotiations with aviation authorities, lessors, suppliers and strategic counterparties in connection with operational, financial and contractual adjustments. - Drafted, reviewed and negotiated commercial, operational and supplier agreements related to business continuity and cost restructuring. - Provided legal support on corporate governance, regulatory matters and internal restructuring initiatives during a highly challenging period for the airline industry.
- Litigation: Assistance to in-house litigation team on civil and commercial procedures. Analysis of banking regulation, gathering and organizing evidence, crafting legal research memos and reports. Dealing with external attorneys on monitoring company’s claims both as a defendant and claimant. - General advice: assistance to in-house counsels with NDA drafting, reviewing and filing agreements, and legal research on banking antitrust laws. - Consumer Law: Assistance to Consumer Law team with monitoring administrative claims.
