Project: -‘ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT, CONSTRUCTION AND COMMISIONING (EPCC) OF KP265 PIPELINE REROUTE PROJECT (OTHERS AND LOGISTIC) FOR SABAH SARAWAK GASLINE PROJECT (SSGP). • Highlight of supervised work on this project: 1) 687m cascade and flat Precast U-drain and Cast-In situ Sump construction. 2) Live stake with Microbe Cultivation and Vegetated/Swale drainage with Soil Barrier Protection (SBP) and Geogrid installation for surface and slope erosion prevention and protection. 3) Cut and fill of earthwork (340 m length and 10m width) for 914mm diameter gas pipeline platform. 4) Soil Investigation works for ground and slope treatment (Borehole and Mackintosh probe). 5) Gabion Wall construction for slope stability and counter-weight. 6) Closed Turfing with indigenous Cow Grass and Turf Reinforcement Mesh (TRM) installation for slope stability. Daily duties: -Act on behalf of the consultant to make sure the construction work on site is align with consultant design drawing -Highlighting any technical issues and problem that may arise on site during construction to the consultant designer or management. -Daily reporting project progress to the management of consultant -Conducting joint inspection with the client before concreting work, during concreting and post-concreting work. -Ensure compliance to project engineering specifications. -Inspect and assess the quality of materials being used for the construction project -Prepare technical documentation, Auto CAD sketch, detailed report and information for consultant designer in the event of construction design change require to suit the site condition. -To highlight any safety issue to Contractor and Clients Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) department on site. -To ensure contractor implement sediment and erosion control with temporary earth drain, sediment fence and sandbag barrier as per Erosion Sediment Control Plan (ESCP).
Project: -‘ PROVISION OF REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF ACCESS ROADS AND SLOPE STABILIZATION WORKS WITHIN THE RIGHT OF WAY (ROW) OF SABAH SARAWAK GAS PIPELINE (SSGP) PROJECT (SARAWAK LOCATION) FOR PETRONAS CARIGALI SDN. BHD. – PACKAGE C’ • Highlight of supervised work on this project: 1) Deep excavation (more than 1.5m-PTS) and Shoring Trench Box (3m x 3m x 3m and 1.4 tons) installation for Mechanical Repair of 914mm diameter gas pipeline. 2) Sheets pile FSP-IIIA (6m and 9m length jointed staggered) works for slope protection (sheets pile coating, pre-boring, sheets pile driving, Sheets pile joint welding and NDT by Dye Penetration Paint and Grouting works) 3) Precast Reinforced Concrete Drain and Concrete Canvas Drain construction for Hydrology works. 4) Soil Investigation works for ground and slope treatment (Borehole and Mackintosh probe). Daily duties: -Make sure all safety requirements are adhering to before work start. -To report any accident to Site Safety Supervisors (SSS) immediately. -Assists Project Manager / Senior Civil Engineer in coordination of the Work Leader (WL). -Check and study in details, the dimensions and make known the disperancies detected to Projects Manager / Senior Civil Engineer. -To monitor and discuss regards to Schedule and Planning on site activities. -To inform Project Manager / Senior Civil Engineer of any additional work (VO) instructed by PETRONAS Project Management Team (PMT). -Approved to be PETRONAS Cari Gali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) Permit To Work (PTW) Applicant/user. -Accountable for all related activities stated in the PTW. -Responsible to ensure PTW is implemented as per PCSB PTW requirements. -Ensure that work is done is recorded in quantitative form. -Control labour and material to prevent wastages at site. -Control work quality and not limited to i.e:- i.Levels ii.Alignment iii.Finishes iv.Materials Quality v.Soils Specification and Classifications vi.Compaction
Daily duties: -Shall be stationed at Project Sector WPC 10-C to assist Resident Engineer (RE) in the construction phase of the project works. -Shall be responsible to RE, on all matters related to construction aspects of the Works -Ensure that total Quality Assurance and Quality Control of construction works are well maintained. -To liaise with LBU's Contractor's Site Agent and his designated site personnel, as instructed by the RE. -Notify RE promptly of any problem(s) that may arise on site, and be guided by his ruling at all times. -Attend Site, QA/QC and Technical meetings together with RE (as per his instructions), and follow up with matters as discussed as necessary. -To assist RE to resolve design queries; To assist RE to brief and guide Inspector of Works, Laboratory Technician(s) and Survey Technician(s) and coordinate and oversee their functions. -To assist RE in the assessment of Method Statement(s). -To carry out daily Site inspections, and ensure LBU's Contractor carry out / complete works to design intent and to specifications. -To make known to RE of any issue arising in the works, for him to prepare and issue Site Memo's, Site instructions, Non-Conformance Reports, etc, in relation to the works. -Monitor corrective and preventive actions identified in the NCRs; Assist RE in the assessment of Work Inspection Request (WIR) submitted by LBU's Contractor's Site Agent, on a daily basis. -Brief IOWs, and others in the Project Site Team on daily works approved / disapproved for commencement / continuation of work activities, as recorded in WIRS and Request For Information Form (RFI). -Maintain a Site Diary on a daily basis and provide same to RE. -Any other duties delegated / assigned by RE, from time to time.
Project: -‘THE CONSTRUCTION AND PROPOSED BRIDGE OVER BATANG SAMARAHAN, SAMARAHAN DIVISION, SARAWAK, MALAYSIA’. • Highlight of supervised work on this project: 1) 2.8 km Road work construction (sand filling to surcharge level, subgrade preparation, subbase and roadbase, laying pavement) 2) T-Girder Beam construction 3) Culvert construction 4) Approach Span structures (headstock and piers shaft) Titles: Site Engineer Daily duties: -Supervised and monitor the site team (contractors and sub-contractors) on construction activities and progress. -Closely supervise works at site such as piling, reinforced concrete concreting, steelworks, girder beam stressing & other civil works -Record and report daily site activities. -Issuing Request For Inspection (RFI) and writing other necessary paperwork for daily site activity -Ensuring the civil work on site quality strictly follow the construction drawing -Coordinate with consultant to resolve site problem and conduct inspection on all works on site. -Coordinate with Lab team to arrange a compulsory on site laboratory test such as Field Density Test (FDT) and Pavement Coring Sampling for roadwork -Coordinate with Surveyor team to arrange a necessary Survey Setting Out Work such as location peg, as-built, piling cut-off level, roadwork settlement monitoring -Work closely with Safety & Health Officer (SHO) and Safety Site Supervisor (SSS) to ensure all activities on site meeting with the standard safety rules and regulations. -Become worker’s representative regarding any issue on site and report it to the management. -Recording and writing workers and operators Time Card. -Ensure the condition of the materials and machinery in a good condition -All other duties delegated / assigned as Site Engineer of the company
