My professional career spans research, education, and editing roles in academic and museum sectors. I have over seven years of project and team management experience, including research initiatives, public engagement and communication, and the organization of academic events. I have been awarded competitive grant funding from public and private sources to conduct my research. - As a researcher, I analyze archaeological, artistic, and documentary evidence to refine scholarly understandings of past communities in the Andes under changing political and cultural contexts in the early modern period. - As an educator, I have created and delivered original teaching materials appropriate for various age and education levels that contribute to student acquisition of new knowledge about world arts, cultures, and histories, and reinforcement of concepts already known. - As an editor, I have worked in close collaboration with authors to ensure that their ideas are delivered clearly and effectively while keeping in line with the aims and scope of the publication.
Creation of bilingual weekly posts in English and Spanish for the Andean Lab accounts on Instagram and Facebook to promote knowledge about Andean archaeology, art history, and culture. Overseeing the running of the Andean Lab at the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology, managed the assignment of lab duties and ensured their fulfillment, handled communication with lab members, and prepared ordering lists for lab supplies.
