Alan is a strategic AI and Data Product Leader with over a decade of experience driving digital transformation through Generative AI and enterprise data ecosystems. Currently serving as Digital and Analytics Manager at Cathay Pacific Airways, Alan spearheads the AI and analytics strategy for the Customer Contact department. In his current role, Alan drives the AI and analytics strategy across three core domains: customer-facing AI chatbots, internal AI automations, and customer contact analytics. He is evolving the customer service chatbot towards autonomous agentic frameworks, a product roadmap that has already delivered a 14% uplift in containment. Parallel to this, he spearheads a spotlight AI initiative to drive operational efficiencies, championing the delivery of reliable and scalable solutions. Prior to Cathay Pacific, Alan founded Junnus Limited, a specialized AI & Data consultancy. His background also includes leadership roles at Swire Properties, where he engineered centralized data lakes and personalization engines, and A.S. Watson Group, where he specialized in forecast models for promotional sales demand. Alan holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Economics and Finance from The University of Hong Kong. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (HKICPA).
