About

I joined my family's business at 25. We were surviving off of the first generation's heroics and requiring superhuman commitments. Systematically, I partnered with Gen I and a team of incredible non-family leaders to professionalize and scale our operations. Nine years later, we've grown from one company to two, integrated multiple acquisitions, and built the kind of operational depth that makes growth stick. Here's what I've learned: growth in business doesn't fail in the field, it fails at the systematic level. Great systems allow average people to accomplish incredible feats. At Westcon Construction and Maintco Corp, I run operations across Southern California; building the systems, teams, and cadence that keep quality and margins intact as we grow. What I focus on: · Acquisition integration — from signed LOI to a unified team · Operating systems — KPIs, standard work, and accountability that travels down to the field · Leadership depth — supervisors and PMs who don't need saving · Process + workflow — less rework, less friction, better margins I'm a Vistage CE member, mechanical engineer (University of Delaware), and a second-generation operator who's made every mistake in this book and then fixed it. On LinkedIn I share what I'm actually learning: from integration war stories to operational frameworks that work in the real world. DM me if you're building a durable ops engine, acquiring in our space, or just want to compare notes.

  • Vice President Operations at Westcon Construction Services, Inc

Westcon Construction Services is a Southern California commercial contractor operating across concrete, landscape, masonry, and project delivery. Westcon Construction Services is a Southern California commercial contractor operating across concrete, landscape, masonry, and project delivery. As VP of Operations, I lead the business with an owner's mindset — accountable for field execution, margin performance, and the operational infrastructure that makes growth stick. Since joining in 2022, I've focused on three things: Acquisition integration — When Westcon was acquired, I led the post close integration from day one: aligning teams, rebuilding operating cadence, and merging two organizations into one that performs. I specialize in the 0 to 90 day window where most acquisitions either gain traction or quietly unravel. Operational systems — I've built the policies, KPIs, and standard work that give field teams clarity and give ownership visibility. Less rework, tighter margins, fewer surprises. Leadership depth — I develop supervisors and PMs who run clean jobs without hand holding. The goal is a team that doesn't need saving when things get hard.

  • Maintco Corp (Burbank, CA)
    • Vice President Operations
      Sep 2019 - Present · 6 yrs 10 mos

Maintco Corp is a Southern California facility services company I grew up in — literally. As a second generation executive and VP of Operations, I lead with an owner's mindset because I have one. Over nearly 7 years in this role, I've built the operating infrastructure that took Maintco from a founder-run business to a scalable organization. That included implementing lean systems that drove a 20% gross revenue increase, building accountability structures that didn't exist before, and developing a leadership team that owns outcomes rather than just executes tasks. What I focus on: Durable operating systems — policies, processes, and standard work that hold up under growth, ownership transition, and acquisition. People and accountability — supervisors and managers who lead, not just manage. Culture that performs without the founder in the room. Supplier and customer relationships — in an owner operated environment, trust and reputation are the business. I protect both. Long term stewardship — decisions that strengthen Maintco not just for the next quarter, but for the next generation of ownership. Skills: OSHA 30 · Lean Operatio

Vistage CE member since 2019 — started in the Key Executive group and moved into the CEO peer group as the business grew. The peer group has sharpened how I think about risk, growth, and leadership decisions — particularly around operational scaling, acquisitions, and long term planning.
