Developing new Product Development systems for this new and exciting Start Up. Building a team to manage Bill of Material, Change Management, Data Management and PLM Support.
Developing a new PLM system from ground up for QOROS Automotive based on Enovia V6, working very closely with each Business Unit and Software Vendors to define business requirements, processes, use and test cases for execution during implementation of new functions that bring value and ROI to the business. The scope of which covers an extensive footprint covering Product Configuration Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Engineering BoM, Manufacturing BoM and Service BoM controlled and managed using a 'Single BoM' concept integrating CAD design driven Engineering BoM and Engineering and Manufacturing Change Management processes. Responsibilities for managing a multi cultural team of expert local and expatriate resources to ensure accurate information flow through PLM to our ERP solution. A team comprising of 20 personnel that provide engineering support for maintenance / generation of EBoM, Data Management, Methodologies, Application and Business Process Support, Training and Testing.
Developing new processes and working methods for a new global automotive manufacturer based in Shanghai China. Since working with this company and being part of a very small team (circa 10) we have implemented Teamcenter Engineering v9.1.2.9. with both CATIA V5 and Pro/Engineer Wildfire 2.0 integration and subsequently upgraded to Teamcenter 2007 UA. I have been heavily involved with the following areas of this project: - Project Definition - Development & Testing - Project Planning - Data Migration (circa 10,000 models) - Developing Corporate Training Material bespoke to the Client. - Application Support (Both Catia V5 and Teamcenter Engineering) - Teamcenter Administration - Helpdesk Management / Problem Solving - Methodologies
