Alan began his career as a professional tennis player after graduating Purdue. Several years later Alan founded Harvard Cellular Communications. HCC was an authorized agent for then Cingular Wireless. HCC owned and operated branded Cingular Wireless stores throughout the greater Boston and NYC metropolitan markets. Alan ultimately sold his stores back to Cingular whom then became AT&T Wireless. Alan's next endeavor is the inventor of Nubrella, the world's first backpack style worn Hands-Free 'umbrella' . Nubrella provides; rain, sun, wind, cold and technology device protection all in one. Nubrella appeals to the millions of recreational enthusiasts and outdoor workers who need to be outdoors in rain and sun.
