Alan Jakubowski is a dedicated leader, a motivated professional with a positive attitude. Very proud to have served as the Resident Agent in Charge (RAC), Detroit Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Jakubowski retired from ATF in December 2020 after 30+ years of very successful years as a Special Agent/Supervisory Special Agent. Jakubowski is currently employed as a Team Lead Investigator for the successful group at Five Stones intelligence (5Si). Jakubowski maintains a “Top Secret” national security clearance. Additionally, Jakubowski serves as the Law Enforcement Coordinator for Crime Stoppers of Flint and Genesee County and is a member of Crime Stoppers USA. He uses his can do anything attitude supported with many life experiences, and double major of Business and Sociology-Criminal Justice from Adrian College to solidify his current success. As a leader in Federal Law Enforcement in Detroit and throughout the country, Jakubowski developed specific skills relating to managing people, Advanced Threat Assessment, risk mitigation, crisis management, interviewing, motivation and providing and maintaining a secure safe environment. Following his service with ATF, Jakubowski was hired and excelled as the senior account manager for a Michigan based (1000 + employee) security company that focused on physical security using a combination of personnel and technology. He developed his expertise in threat and building assessment as well as school and corporate security. Jakubowski is proud to be a leader and one of the individuals responsible for the tremendous success and camaraderie in the offices and communities that he works in. He has received numerous awards and commendations to include; a Congressional Certificate of Special Recognition from U.S. Congressman Dale Kildee in 2012 for outstanding and invaluable community service; a leadership award from the Federal Executives Association in 2017 for his efforts to the greater Flint and Saginaw area; a U.S. Congressional Proclamation from Congressman Dan Kildee in 2020 for his continued excellence and dedication to the Flint community, as well as a proclamation from Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley making December 3rd “Alan Jakubowski Day” in honor of Jakubowski’s retirement and service for the community. Jakubowski is grateful, loyal and will continue to contribute to the agencies, companies, and communities that he serves. Jakubowski is also a proud husband to Michelle (28 years) and four awesome children.
