I strongly believe that digitalisation and democratisation of energy will play a key role in achieving netzero. A senior industry leader with extensive UK energy industry knowledge and proven leadership experience in building and scaling new energy initiatives in rapidly changing and highly competitive markets. Invited as keynote speaker and panel member at international conferences and events. - Expert understanding of UK electricity and gas markets with experience of managing £2.5bn+ energy portfolio for major energy retailers in the UK - Expert knowledge and first-hand experience of maximising value from flexible assets. For example, helped with the business casing of the first 49MW battery in Europe, launched innovative products for flex asset owners, created models to extract best energy value for different assets, and successfully bid into different flex markets - I have spent last few years in making NetZero a reality through launch of market leading B2C and B2B initiatives in the areas such as Electric vehicle, Electric heat, Solar/Battery, flexibility. I have also mentored start-ups as part of EDF Pulse program. I helped with the design of business case and provide advise in areas such as MVP design, product proposition, how to enter a market and scale, and navigate complex industry regulations.
