I worked at Axis Bank’s Chennai Head Office as a Banking Intern in the Mid Corporate Sector. During my internship, I gained exposure to various banking practices, products, and tools. I learned how banks operate in the corporate sector (providing loans to corporates and other related services), conducted financial analysis of companies based on their financial statements, coordinated with the Credit Analysts team in preparing Credit Appraisal Memorandums (CAMs), and assisted Relationship Managers in client meetings.
