As an Assistant Manager in the Electrical Maintenance Department of the Ductile Iron Pipe Plant of ESL Steel Limited, Vedanta, I apply my technical knowledge and skills in the field of plant automation and instrumentation. I work with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the electrical and automation systems of the plant, such as WinCC, SIMATIC STEP 7, and PLCs. I am a Electrical Engineering Graduate from BIT Sindri, where I developed my interest and passion for plant automation and instrumentation. I completed multiple online courses and certifications on Arduino, Industrial IoT, and MATLAB, to enhance my theoretical and practical learning. I also participated in various technical events and competitions, where I demonstrated my problem-solving and innovation abilities. I am motivated to learn and grow in this domain, and contribute to the performance and sustainability of the plant and the company.
In these past six months, I have learned how to apply my technical knowledge in the practical world. Working in the maintenance team, of the Ductile Iron Pipe Plant of ESL. I'm continuously learning and developing my confidence in my field. Thanks to all my seniors for the support.
The topic of my project was "Dynamic Charging of Electric Vehicle", I worked under the guidance of Dr. R.K Saket sir and Kumari Sarita Ma'am. I learned about the various concepts of Power Electronics Converters and their Modeling in Simulink.
I visited the 132/27KV Power Grid and learned the power distribution process in OHE. I also visited the Remote Control Unit of TSS CKP, where explored the SCADA system of S.E Railway, and in the last few days of my VT, I managed to get the opportunity to visit the OHE training school of S.E Railway where I learned the different OHE maintenance and installation techniques.
