I didn't take the conventional path into software engineering. At age 18, I built an EdTech startup called "iTopper" that reached 4,000 installs. It failed, but I learned more from that than most people learn in four years of college. And I kept building. Most recently I served as Technical Lead at Paywaz, a US fintech startup, where I architected their entire blockchain-powered payment infrastructure from scratch.
Tech Lead for the Payments & Transactions unit at Paywaz, a US-based fintech startup, responsible for architecting and building the blockchain-powered merchant infrastructure — including the React Native POS app, Node.js/Express backend, and React + Vite.js merchant dashboard. Led technical roadmap execution, managed AWS deployments, and ensured scalable multi-chain settlement flows. Also handled team hiring by screening 100+ resumes and conducting 50+ technical interviews to build the engineering team.
Contributed to Paywaz, a US-based fintech startup, by developing a full-fledged Android POS application enabling merchants to accept crypto payments. Collaborated on backend services and the merchant dashboard to ensure seamless stablecoin settlements (e.g., USDT). Gained end-to-end exposure to mobile development, backend integration, and scalable payment infrastructure.
Handled inbound customer calls for MakeMyTrip’s international flight bookings, assisting travelers with inquiries, ticket modifications, cancellations, and refunds.
At age 19, I taught core programming languages (Java, C/C++, Python) to students, fostering problem-solving skills and computational thinking.
