I have spent 14 years working in regulatory affairs, and my PhD has helped me build a solid scientific foundation in compliance and risk management. I enjoy working closely with teams and regulators to come up with practical solutions that work for everyone. I am proud of the progress I have made—streamlining processes and strengthening risk management- but I always see each day as a chance to learn something new. Headed Scientific and Regulatory Affairs for the Pet Nutrition category in India. As part of the Asia SRA leadership team, worked closely with regional and global colleagues across brands such as Pedigree, Whiskas, Sheba, and Cesar to support science-based nutrition standards, enable clear and responsible product claims, and engage with regulators on supportive policies. Also served as Co-Chair of the Nutrition Committee at the Global Alliance of Pet Food Associations (GAPFA), Belgium, and as Convener for the BIS Scientific Panel on Pet Food Standards
Commercialization of Dietary Supplements, Nutraceuticals in Global markets- US, Canada, EU, Asia, Australia. As the Director of Global Scientific and Regulatory Affairs for Nutraceuticals, I successfully led the Global Corporate Regulatory Affairs team. I played a crucial role in shaping regulatory strategies, ensuring compliance, and driving the global registration process for products and health claims.
Worked with different companies and consulting agencies as a consultant in R&D and FSSAI Food Regulations, I ensured regulatory compliance throughout the product development lifecycle. I worked on formulations, RDA compliance, product artwork, and health claims, aligning them with regulatory guidelines.
