About

I lead the International markets charter in the India South Asia team of Uber. This includes Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and new countries in this region as we launch. I belong to Lucknow, capital of the largest state in India and have fond memories of the two places I studied in : BITS Pilani and XLRI Jamshedpur for they made me believe in the power of possibility. Three personal experiences which shaped me while growing up - the precision and discipline from my days as a national-level rifle shooter, my incessant love for books fuelling my curiosity, and an ambition which stems from an ever-present gratitude for opportunities life has brought my way. Three professional experiences which have made me who I am 1) The Retail Odyssey: Managing over 130 retail stores across North India, I delved into the heart of business, understanding the pulse of diverse franchises and 500+ store staff 2) The Apprenticeship: Shadowing the CEO of the country’s largest fashion apparel company for nearly three years was akin to a masterclass in leadership and strategy 3) The Tech Transition: Embracing the dynamic world of technology with Uber, I navigate new challenges daily, buoyed by a fantastic team by my side! On most days, I look forward to my daily time-outs for journalling, reading and playing with my high energy toddler who keeps me on my toes. On off days, the occasional sugar hit. I believe in the magic of conversations, sometimes finding them in the most unexpected places. Life, for me, is about striving with a smile, growing not just older but wiser with each passing year.
