At Commonwealth Bank of Australia, I architected the Mortgage Loan Underwriting API (.NET 8 microservices) that processes 100,000+ home loan applications, and single-handedly built a serverless Lambda pipeline that replaced a multi-day manual data process with a fully automated 3-hour delivery cycle — zero data loss, zero manual intervention. Before CBA, I spent 3 years at Globant building the Customer Tax Data Master platform for CRS/FATCA compliance, migrating the stack from .NET 4.8 to .NET 6 while live in production, and resolving critical SQL performance issues that were degrading the platform for thousands of users. Part of CBA’s PCO Modernization programme, building in-house mortgage decisioning systems on AWS to replace vendor-dependent platforms. • Architected 3 microservices APIs (.NET 8, Clean Architecture) for the Mortgage Loan Underwriting platform, replacing external vendor systems and processing 100,000+ home loan applications across upstream channels. • Single-handedly architected and built the ML Underwriting web application (SPA) for staff to view, search, and manage home loan applications — designing the full solution from BFF (Backend for Frontend) layer through React frontend and Node.js middleware, with OIDC-based authentication via Ping SSO and token validation through the BFF, replacing the previous vendor UI with an in-house platform integrated into CBA's One.CBA launch ecosystem. • Single-handedly designed and built a serverless Lambda pipeline (Aurora PostgreSQL → S3, cross-account IAM Assume Role) that automated data delivery to the downstream reporting platform — cutting reconciliation from a multi-day manual process to a 3-hour automated cycle with zero data loss. • Led migration of the Logistics module from legacy .NET monolith to .NET 8 microservices with Kafka and Aurora DB on AWS, supporting worldwide operational traffic. • Won internal hackathon by building an infra-automation portal that reduced app/API onboarding from 7–8 days to under 2 minutes (99.9% reduction in provisioning effort). • Set up CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, TeamCity), observability dashboards (Observe, Grafana), and mentored 2 engineers through daily code reviews (~5/day) while collaborating with Australian stakeholders on architecture and delivery.
Built and maintained the Customer Tax Data Master (CTDM) platform for CRS/FATCA regulatory compliance in the financial services domain. • Migrated core API from .NET Framework 4.8 to .NET 6 while the application was live in production, improving performance, security, and enabling cross-platform deployment. • Designed and built multiple data-heavy CRUD screens end-to-end (Customer Master, Account Master, Data Import) — DB schema, stored procedures, .NET API, and Angular UI — used daily by all platform users. • Diagnosed and resolved critical production performance issues by profiling and rewriting slow SQL stored procedures, directly improving application response times. • Implemented Hangfire background jobs with Mediator Pattern for parallel batch file processing, and upgraded Angular 11 → 14 resolving third-party UI breaking changes. • Managed Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines with gated approvals; coordinated sprint delivery and UAT with stakeholders across Ireland and Poland. Received “Pat on the Back” recognition award.
