• Designed and fabricated electrostatically actuated metal MEMS cantilever beam for sensing applications and RF MEMS switch at IIT Bombay Nanofabrication Facility (IITBNF), IIT Bombay, India • Characterized the fabricated device using equipment like Keithley 4200 SCS, Probe Station with probe shield, Oscilloscope, etc. • Designed and developed a novel approach for simple and cost-effective fabrication of electrostatically actuated polymer MEMS cantilever beam on a flexible substrate. • Performed an in-depth analysis of cracking phenomenon in metal layer sputtered on flexible PDMS layer. The conductivity of thin films was measured using a Four probe measurement setup. • Characterized the fabricated device and developed an integrated system with a novel on-chip electrical readout method for the PDMS MEMS cantilever sensor. • Performed RF Characterization of devices such as a capacitor, MOSFET • Mentored graduate and postgraduate students working on assigned projects. • Prepared project proposals for submission to agencies and foundations that fund research. • Organized technical workshops, training programs and coordinated for the same.
