Passion project: I wanted to create a difference in our world, reduce the use of animal skins and help reduce waste whilst creating a postitive impact on our planet. I proudly present... Zessoo. (https://zessoo.com) We have created an incredible line of fashion accessories made from fallen leaves, cork and waste materials headed for slums. These materials are sustainable and help increase the demand for alternative to leather materials and reduce the demand of animal skins. Zessoo leaf wallets are literally made from leaves, bonded together through natural sunlight and dyed in colours through natural vegan friendly resources. Each wallet is handmade from the moment of picking up leaves to bonding and sewing to create the final piece. Every single wallet is unique due to the nature of no 2 leaves being the same and the process of making it by hand. Our waste material accessories are made from rice sacks, flour sacks and cement sacks that would normaly head straight to the slums of Africa, India and Asia. We upcycle this material and bring it back into society reducing landfill and slum waste. Not only do we use fallen leaves, we also plant one tree for every single zessoo item sold.
