  • Maestra Group (London, United Kingdom)
    • Senior Technical Manager
      Jan 2019 - Oct 2019 · 10 mos

I was in charge of delivery of the technical elements for bespoke events around the world. I worked with the client-facing project management team to establish what the technical requirements for each event were. From there I was able to design the technical elements to suit the brief, produce kit lists, plan the on-site execution and manage the installation crew on site. The events ranged from high-end private parties to experiential events to corporate events (conferences, receptions, award shows) in countries all over the world including the UAE, Spain, USA and South Africa.

  • Technical Project Manager at Event Concept
    Apr 2017 - Aug 2018 · 1 yr 5 mos

As a technical project manager, I worked with the client and producer to develop the technical brief in order to design the lighting, audio and video systems for a variety of corporate events and private parties around the UK. The venues I worked in were a mix including large-scale Grade 1 listed buildings such as the Natural History Museum, Kensington Palace and Tate Britain as well as other venues like Printworks, Sky Garden at 20 Fenchurch St. and The Shard. Due to the public nature of a lot of these venues, install times for shows were very tight. Sometimes we had less than one hour to transform these spaces into bespoke party environments or conferences with full audio, lighting and video systems. Effective crew management and forward planning was key for on-site execution with very little room for error.
