Owning the secondary glycol production program, four lines and nine zones, around 10 units a week, working alongside a great group of production leads, operators, and the quality and planning teams who really make it run. Most of the work happened on the floor: time studies, takt, line balancing, and kanban, applying Lean and Six Sigma to help take out a little waste where possible. Also contributed a few small tools to make things easier, like a 6S audit app that the IT team kindly adopted and a BOM cleanup automation.
Tested and 3D-scanned aerospace seat track assemblies to ±0.001” (AS9100/FAA standards). Designed 30+ components that cut production complexity ~15%, and authored inspection reports that drove a ~12% lab efficiency gain. Precision engineering, aerospace-grade.
Designed refinery plant layouts for a 20,000 sq. ft. facility (AutoCAD Plant 3D, E3D, S3D), boosting space utilization ~25%. Built 8 custom racks and carts that cut manual handling time ~35%. Where my plant-floor design thinking started.
