I am a Data Leader specialising in enterprise Data Governance, with seven years of experience across private and public sector environments. My expertise spans Critical Data Elements (CDEs), data quality frameworks, data controls, authoritative data sources and end-to-end data lineage. My work focuses on establishing data that is accurate, trusted and well-controlled for regulatory reporting, analytics and operational decision-making. Over the past two years, I have led governance efforts supporting Consumer Duty compliance, partnering with business, technology and control stakeholders to strengthen data ownership and embed governance into day-to-day workflows. In the last year, I have also been responsible for governing data products on a cloud platform (AWS), supporting an organisation-wide transition to cloud-native analytics. This includes adapting traditional governance standards to modern architectures while maintaining robust oversight of data quality, lineage and critical controls. I am particularly interested in how organisations modernise governance as they adopt cloud, decentralised platforms and AI-driven use cases, and how CDO functions evolve to support these emerging capabilities.
