In the area of Compensation and Benefits, I have been responsible for designing competitive and equitable compensation structures, conducting market analysis, and implementing benefits programs that attract and retain high-quality employees while ensuring internal equity and compliance with local regulations. My strategic approach to compensation has contributed to enhancing employee satisfaction and reducing turnover. In recent years, I have focused on driving Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, championing inclusive policies and practices that foster an environment of belonging for all employees. Currently, in my role as an HR Business Partner (HRBP), I work closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals, driving organizational effectiveness and optimizing employee engagement. I act as the HR Business Partner for the Corporate, Sales, and Marketing teams, working closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals. Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, performance management, and organizational development. Coach and support managers on employee engagement, conflict resolution, and team dynamics. Lead Talent Acquisition (TA) across the organization — I oversee end-to-end hiring, manage recruitment strategies, and ensure we attract the right talent. Focus heavily on enhancing the candidate experience and improving hiring metrics (like time-to-hire, offer conversion, etc.). Head the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) function — I design and implement inclusive hiring practices, create awareness programs, and work to embed DEI into the company culture. Analyze HR and recruitment data to guide decisions and improve our people processes. Collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders to drive culture, engagement, and change management initiatives. Ensure compliance with HR policies, legal requirements, and maintain ethical standards across all people practices.
My role at Pakistan Cables was focused on the areas of talent acquisition, learning & development and OD, my team comprises of 2 members and i am directly reporting to the General Manager HR. The details of the responsibilities include: •Manage all talent requirements for the organization which includes Head Office, Factory and Regional Offices. •Supervise all candidates and monitor all interviews and maintain appropriate recruitment status reports and analyze all metrics and assist to implement all recruitment strategies. •Participate in various job fairs and prepare efficient network of all talent and develop and implement various strategies for all training programs and participate in various training programs. •Responsible for engagement of learning and development programs for all employees based on the TNA; maintain an efficient electronic learning management systems to retain all employees and assist all hiring managers in development assessment processes. •Responsible for the company wide annual performance management system and objective settings plan. •Plan and organize employee engagement activities. •Manage, design and implement policies and procedures relating to organizational development. Facilitate implementation of appropriate change management initiatives associated with organizational transition activities.
•Manage the day to day operations related to compensation and benefits. •Administer the execution of employee benefits such as Insurances and other allowances, where applicable as per company policy. •Coordinate compensation surveys related activities and analysis of compensation data. •Support the Head of Human Resources in the formulation, implementation and review of compensation & benefit policies. •Review and supervise the processing the monthly payroll of all management and non-management staff. •Review and supervise the final settlements of resigned employees after obtaining clearance from relevant departments. •Manage the Administration of Group Health & Life Insurance issues related to its claims and pre-approvals etc. •Facilitate the smooth flow of the performance management process along with different bonuses and implement subsequent changes in the ERP system. •Responsible for supervising the leave management system for Sharif Group Employees. •Ensure the EOBI and social security contribution on behalf of Sharif Group are done on timely basis. •Responsible for Manpower planning and execution for all Sharif Group companies. •Work in developing and delivering the OD actions plans regarding policy development. •Ensure that OD initiatives are fully comprehended and implemented to the staff.
