Mechanical Engineering student passionate about converting designs into physical reality through manufacturing technologies.
Production & Mold Engineering Intern Completed an intensive engineering internship focused on mold design, manufacturing, and quality control processes for the automotive industry. Actively participated in the production cycles of high-precision injection molds for major projects including Tesla, TOGG, and Renault. * CNC & CAD/CAM Operations: Monitored the manufacturing process of the Tesla rear spoiler mold on 3-axis CNC vertical machining centers. Assisted in tool path generation, simulation, and G-code optimization using CAD/CAM software to ensure geometric accuracy . * Advanced Machining (EDM): Executed Wire and Die-Sinking Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) operations. Utilized both Copper and Graphite electrodes to machine complex mold geometries and deep cavities inaccessible by standard milling . * Mold Optimization & Revision: Conducted thermal analysis on mold cooling channels to resolve flash and deformation issues observed during injection trials. Redesigned cooling lines based on flow analysis, significantly improving thermal balance and final product quality . * Quality Assurance & Metrology: Performed dimensional verification of finished molds (e.g., Renault emblem, TOGG interior parts) using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) with ±0.01 mm tolerance precision. Analyzed surface roughness (Ra) to ensure compliance with geometric tolerances . * Surface Finishing & Repair: Applied laser welding techniques for precision mold repairs on DIN 1.2343/1.2311 steels and performed fiber laser marking for product traceability .
