Within the Research team I am primarily responsible for the the quarterly market updates in Jeddah and thought leadership papers in KSA. Additionally, I support the various departments locally and regionally with ad hoc research requests and market commentary. Some of my primary responsibilities to date include: - Surveying the market on a quarterly basis to collect data for the database system to prepare market commentary for the Jeddah quarterly reports (released publicly and to the media) - Analysing macroeconomic data (at a national and local level) on a quarterly basis - Researching property trends, competitor activity, consumer buying patterns, etc. and transforming such research into informative reports / documents

    As Analyst I supported both the Consulting and Research teams in KSA and UAE. By surveying the markets in Jeddah and Riyadh on a regular basis for the quarterly reports and updating the database system I was able to then convey such data in a clear and informative manner for client reports. For the Research team I primarily analysed data and conducted desk based research covering the four main asset classes: residential, hospitality, office and retail (to prepare market commentary for the quarterly reports on Riyadh and Jeddah). While in my role in the Consulting team, I attended kick off meetings for clients and meetings with perspective clients to prepare proposals. This was followed by workshops to discuss the scope of work to be provided. Preparing the study and presenting once the draft reports have been submitted.
