As Saudi Arabia’s first Minister of Tourism, I am committed to the Kingdom’s economic and social transformation and the creation of opportunities for all. After 25 years in banking and finance, I moved into public service to give back to my country. Working as Minister of Health, Chair of the General Entertainment Authority, and now Minister of Tourism, I have led key transformation projects working towards Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals, including launching the Kingdom’s first international tourism visa; welcoming international tourists to experience the wonders of Saudi Arabia for the first time.
