Promoted to lead the newly established insurance cluster of Contact Financial Holding, overseeing the companies of Sarwa Insurance ,Sarwa Life and Contact Insurance Brokerage. Accountable for setting the cluster’s strategic direction, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring strong financial and operational performance across the three entities. Driving strategic and operational leadership across the three companies, steering business growth, and strengthening market position through clear vision-setting, disciplined execution, and strong governance. The role includes mentoring and empowering the management of each subsidiary, building cohesive leadership capabilities, and ensuring consistent delivery of commercial, operational, and risk objectives. Serves as the strategic interface between Contact Financial Holding and its insurance businesses, ensuring alignment with group objectives, regulatory integrity, and stakeholder confidence. Represents the insurance cluster at the highest levels with regulators, partners, and investors, advancing the group’s market position and long-term value creation.
Named by the founding shareholders (Contact Financial Holding) in August 2018 to build Sarwa from the ground up. Obtained the operating license from FRA in March 2019. Led the business to achieve an annual premium income of EGP 1 Billion in less than 6 years of operations which made Sarwa the fastest ever general insurer hits the billion mark in the market , 6 consecutive years of increasing profitability and material increase in Sarwa's contribution to Holding Company profits. Made great strides in service delivery , customer growth , expense management and in the development of new capabilities across the company required to pursuit the outperformance and became a long term "Best in Class" insurer who outplayed the competition.
Active participant and member of Executive Committee responsible for the development and implementation of company's strategy, operational plans, policies, procedures and budgets; the monitoring of operating and financial performance. Driving and optimizing the performance of the underwriting portfolios ( General ,Health and Life ), Claims operations, and Reinsurance activities to deliver the required contribution to business in terms of growth expectations and profitability.
Directs the overall performance of Underwriting , Claims and Reinsurance activities of the Non Life Operations of Allianz Egypt, Reporting to Country Managing Director.
