Egypt
I’ve spent my career building and leading teams that create high-impact tech solutions. I started Payflowly—a payment platform that helps businesses manage multiple gateways through one API—cutting transaction failures for clients in Saudi Arabia. I designed the system from scratch using Python, Node.js, and Kubernetes, and handled everything from coding to security and deployment. Before that, at IBM, I worked on cloud projects for big clients like ANZ and MTN, including a solar energy platform (Green Taqa) that connected users with service providers. I’ve also led engineering teams at companies like Nodiet and Hireabroad, where we built microservices, automated deployments, and moved systems to AWS and DigitalOcean. Alongside these roles, I’ve applied AI to solve domain-specific challenges, including developing models to analyze and predict share exchange rates in the Egyptian stock market, and using agentic AI frameworks to rapidly build and validate MVP solutions for early-stage products. My background is full-stack development, but I’ve shifted toward leading teams and solving big-picture problems—like how to scale securely or streamline payments. I’ve got a PhD in Computer Science (focusing on cryptography), but I care more about building things that work than theory. Right now, I’m excited about fintech, cloud architecture, and mentoring the next wave of engineers.
