Biomedical Engineer with a First Class BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and an MSc in Biomedical Engineering, currently working in hospital-based biomedical engineering and medical device operations at Jaber Hospital, Kuwait. My work focuses on the intersection of medical devices, healthcare innovation, AI in healthcare, clinical workflow systems, patient-specific technologies, and 3D medical applications. In my hospital role, I contribute to advanced medical device support, staff training, medical robotics-related work, digital workflow improvement, and technology-focused policy and governance initiatives. Alongside this, I am building Bioink Scientific Consultation Company toward a medical technology platform focused on patient-specific models, anatomical modeling, surgical and educational applications, and clinically useful digital tools. My long-term research interests lie in AI-enabled healthcare, emergency medicine applications, translational biomedical engineering, and patient-centered medical technologies that can move from concept to real clinical use.

Contribute to practical instruction across workshop, laboratory, and lecture-based teaching activities. Leading Bioink’s development toward a medical technology company focused on patient-specific healthcare innovation. Developing anatomical and patient-specific models for preoperative planning, postoperative review, training, and medical education. Exploring 3D printing applications in medicine and localized clinical implementation pathways. Building AI-enabled and digital healthcare concepts for clinical decision support, workflow improvement, and personalized healthcare applications. Working across technical development, product strategy, healthcare relevance, and practical deployment of medtech solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and support advanced medical equipment in a hospital environment, while training healthcare staff on safe use, operational workflows, and device handling. Designed and developed a department-level inventory management system to improve equipment tracking, organization, and workflow visibility. Developed a preventive maintenance (PM) software system to support maintenance scheduling, monitoring, and workflow management within the biomedical engineering department. Contributed to policy development related to scrub dispenser systems, CSSD operations, Cidex processes, and biomedical engineering roles in surgical robotics. Served as Head of the Medical Robotics Team. Served as Deputy Head of the Surgical Team. Member of the Policy and Quality Committee. Collaborated with Engineering Affairs to investigate and resolve a major electrical failure in Operating Room 12, which had caused the room to trip and lose power. Supported review of OT devices and breaker sizing to help prevent recurrence across operating theatres. Contributed to outbreak-response work related to a NICU sepsis incident, supporting investigation of potential contamination sources, reviewing evidence, and contributing to protocol improvements, including additional infection-control measures such as UV lamp usage. Formally invited as a guest expert in biomedical devices to participate in the Infection Control Committee in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Health District, contributing to outbreak-response discussions and supporting collaboration on CSSD governance.
