Interested in making a positive change in the world’s polarization through sports storytelling. I’m a motivated and resilient student-athlete pursuing a B.A. in Journalism at the University of Georgia. Recognized for leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to teamwork within Division I athletics and diverse professional environments. Passionate about sports, storytelling, international affairs, and building inclusive communities. After completing my undergraduate studies, I plan to contribute to a significant sports brand through athlete management, while refining my storytelling proficiency and broadening my global perspective.
Attending the University of Georgia as a student-athlete entails unique experiences of working with a large team and many opportunities to grow as an individual. I was recruited by Georgia Equestrian in February of 2022 for Jumping Seat. Demands of a Division I athlete include working alongside a team of 60 women to compete for the national title each year while maintaining excellence in the classroom and beyond. I was elected by my coaches to join the Student-Athlete Inclusive Excellence Committee for the 2024-25 season. This gives me an opportunity to be a voice for my team during meaningful discussions regarding diversity, equity and inclusion within student-athlete and UGA community cultures. At least two members from each team are elected every year.
