Overall HR responsibility for 3 legal entities in Poland: Avon Cosmetics (commercial business), Avon Operations (production) and Avon Distribution (branch) with altogether 1500 employees. Full responsibility for HR business support, administration, talent & development and Comp&Ben. Managing a team of 30 with 8 direct reports. Active participation in creating the company’s business strategy with people strategy being an integral part of it. Day-to-day cooperation with the General Manager and 2 Management Teams (for commercial business and the factory). Main focus this year: • Setting up a people strategy based on Autonomy, Mastery, Purpose (D. Pink) as modern motivators • Driving the change of company culture by introducing Agile management methods (Management 3.0 - Managing for Happiness – Jurgen Appelo), agile workshops with management teams and managers, training sessions, introduction of Kanban board for the main business activities, etc. • Targeted, tailor-made leadership training: Action Learning, “Empathetic Leadership" -fully based on Non-Violent Communication (NVC), etc.
Responsibilities: Overall responsibility for HR area for Slavics (Czech Republic, Slovakia) and Nordics. Managing a team of 5 direct reports (2 HR Business Partners, 1 HR Operations Specialist and 1 Recruiter for Slavics and HR Manager Nordics). Indirect team of 7. Reporting to HR Executive Director, Central Europe. As a member of Management Team active participation in company's strategy creation and execution. Day-to-day cooperation with General Manager. Participating in strategic planning, personally running strategic project: Digitalization on local and CE level. • Creation and execution of HR strategy (based on Autonomy, Mastery and Purpose as modern motivators) • Redesigning roles & responsibilities of HR team • Managing talent upgrade of organization from managing out poor performers to recruiting and developing talents • Designing and running development programs for top talents (based on learning agility, training programs for young managers, action learning, individual sessions, etc.) • Day-to-day cooperation with Management Team members and line managers in order to ensure proper people management, boost engagement and build strong, high-performing teams • Creating Employer Branding strategy, participating in Top Employer certification (Avon Czech Republic as Top Employer in 2016 and 2017), coordinating certification process • Overall supervision on payroll and Comp&Ben (including salary benchmarking, payroll, bonus calculations, position evaluation, etc.) • Overall supervision on HR operations (WorkDay) • Organization Design - analyzing business processes, assessing workload, finding efficiencies, implementing agile approach (using SCRUM), task management tools, for entire organization • Redesign of Digital department (as part of Digitalization project) – mapping digital processes that will be moved to other business functions, assessing workload, assessing skills need to be trained, planning new organization (with digital as CoE)
Responsibilities: Overall HR responsibility for HR area for Nordics (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Finland). HR support to General Manager and the Management Team in all HR areas. Reporting to HR Director for Poland and Nordics, Board Member. Managing a team of 4 HR Generalists and 1 HR Admin. • Creating HR strategy for all Nordics and managing its execution • Setting up and coordinating main business processes (performance management, recruitment, on-boarding, training & development, poor performance management, etc.) • Creating and executing talent management process (from scratch) including training for managers how to identify potential (Lominger), training for Associates on career planning, trilateral development discussions, Talent Review, development of appropriate programs to suit business current and future needs • Creating and running most of development activities (managerial program for young leaders, functional trainings, etc.) • Working with Leadership Team on Organization Design to ensure team structures are fit for business and implementing changes as necessary (reorganizing Field Activation and Finance Department, rebuilding Estonian team) • Providing advisory and support to management across all HR issues, including capability, policies, absence, disciplinary matters, employment law etc. on a day to day basis • Undertaking, supporting and leading HR improvement or business projects that add value to HR service or support business growth/needs • Ensuring that Compensation and benefits within area is in line with company guidelines and authorize & instruct payroll of all payments required
