Regensburg, Bavaria, Germany
For many years, I’ve dedicated myself to building a strong and diverse career in archaeology, working across nine countries and leading teams in a wide range of contexts — from UNESCO World Heritage sites to large-scale linear infrastructure projects. These include major developments such as the A2 motorway in Poland, the A14 and HS2 projects in the UK, the A94 in Germany, and currently, the SuedLink project. Throughout my career, I’ve progressed from field worker to team lead, specialist, excavation lead, and now Regional (Lot) Manager, combining practical, hands-on field experience with leadership in complex, logistically demanding projects. My background includes managing field teams, overseeing project execution, and coordinating regional operations, as well as working closely with multidisciplinary stakeholders across both research and commercial environments. In addition to my archaeological management experience, I am also a qualified and experienced anthropologist, with extensive work in forensic and commercial contexts. Since February 2024, I’ve been working as Senior Excavation Manager with Infra JV on SuedLink, overseeing daily operations of archaeological field teams in Lot 4.1 – Bavaria and ensuring timely, high-quality results. In June 2025, I took a role of a Lot Manager in Lot 1 - Lower Saxony, taking on full responsibility for the coordination and delivery of all archaeological works and JV operations in that region. While I continue to upskill in complementary areas such as data science and analytics, my core focus remains in archaeology and project management, with a strong commitment to quality, efficiency, and leading multidisciplinary teams in demanding infrastructure environments. I’m excited to continue bridging the gap between heritage and progress through innovative, practical solutions.
