I build businesses from the ground up — and then run them. Over 20 years across cement logistics, Ship Supply Trading, F&B, and business finance in IT, I have founded and operated three businesses simultaneously — managing a combined team of 25, a fleet of 12 assets, and consolidated revenues across multiple active ventures. Before turning entrepreneur, I spent four years at Wipro, one of India's largest enterprises, in business finance team of an $800M business vertical and leading SAP integration of an acquisition across five countries. My background is unusual: I am a Chartered Accountant (CA — ICAI, equivalent to CPA) who chose to build rather than advise. That means I bring financial rigour to operational decisions and operational reality to financial ones. I have managed crises, negotiated with billion-dollar clients, designed MIS systems, hired and developed teams from scratch, and driven cost transformation — not as a consultant observing from the outside, but as the person accountable for the outcome. The sectors I have worked across — Cement Logistics, port/Ship Provisioning, Health F&B, and Enterprise finance — share a common thread: complex operations, thin margins, and the need for sharp execution under pressure. That is the environment where I perform at my best. I am a multi-sector operator with an international outlook, always interested in connecting / partnering with leaders in logistics, supply chain, trading, and business operations globally and particularly focused on opportunities in the UAE, Southeast Asia, and other international markets. Founded and scaled an asset-based 24/7 logistics operation in the cement transport sector, growing the fleet from a single trailer-tanker to 12 units and achieving revenues of ~$375K. Directed all aspects of business management — strategy, P&L, HR, crisis response, and operations. Built and developed a team of 25 from scratch. Established a client base of billion-dollar companies and implemented technology-driven MIS for real-time performance management and cost control.
Investor and daily strategic advisor to a health F&B start-up. Provided hands-on advisory across B2C go-to-market strategy, product development, vendor selection, and growth planning — Conducted investment diligence and monitored financial KPIs on an ongoing basis.
Conceived and operationalised a maritime provisions supply business catering to international vessels calling at Indian ports, generating ~$125K in revenues. Built end-to-end supply chain infrastructure covering bonded-item logistics, customs compliance, and vendor management across perishable and non-perishable categories.
Headed business finance for Eastern Zone of India at one of India's largest IT enterprises —And later was part of Finance Team for 1 $Bn RCTG vertical developing annual operating plans, driving profit improvement initiatives, and monitoring resource utilisation across service lines. Led SAP ERP integration across five countries (Sweden, Portugal, Germany, Brazil, UK), transitioning acquired entities onto the parent company's enterprise platform. Extensive exposure to global enterprise governance and cross-cultural stakeholder management. My experiences have introduced me to contemporary business models and practices with proven competencies in the discipline and skills of general management.
