Prague Metropolitan Area
Currently on maternity leave. I worked as an officer for state final exams at the Faculty of IT, Czech Technical University, Prague. At the same time, I am a freelance violist with various orchestras, ensembles, and bands. I am a graduate of the Information and Library Science program at Charles University, Prague. Also, I graduated from the Classical Music program with a viola playing specialization at Pardubice Conservatory. I am a native Czech speaker and fluent in English.
I am usually recording film and TV show soundtracks or playing symphonic concerts, chamber music, or ethno and world music.
I organized State Final Exams which eventually meant synchronizing hundreds of people. I also took care of the final thesis agenda, I organized graduation ceremonies.
I played the viola on Czech National Symphonic Orchestra's four-month Star Trek tour across the US and Canada.
I started at the National Medical Library in 2014 as a cataloger but have been promoted to Authority Control Supervision. The organization is the principal information and library center in the field of medical sciences and public health in the country. In my position, I supervised the authority control process, which ensures consistent usage of terminology, names, and titles across the medical bibliographic catalog.
