I have several working hats; my core roles being, firstly, as a professional business coach, consultant & mentor for leadership, high performance teamwork and maximizing human potential, in which I have spent nearly 20 years developing Boards, SMTs, divisional or other teams, CEO’s, C-level execs and other leaders in multiple industries & sectors. And, secondly, as an international keynote and TEDx speaker delivering speeches to audiences ranging from single figures to thousands, on a vast range of topics & subjects for which I have unique lived experiences or expertise in - and which is far beyond mere 'motivation.' I am also an established MC and conference facilitator. In my social commentating role, as well as speaking and writing I am on Australian TV every two weeks and UK TV every few months, as an interviewee or panellist, offering thought leadership, critical thinking and trade-off centric perspectives on many cultural, social and international issues. I am a patron of two charities and a member of, or involved with, several more causes and campaigns. As an author, I have written two books: 'Footsteps of Thesiger' and 'One Man’s Climb: A Journey of Trauma, Tragedy and Triumph on K2', and have a third book that will be launched in 2027. A fourth book - on human development and society - will be published in the following two years. As a documentary presenter, I have featured in or presented three broadcasts to date: 'The Greenland Quest' for the National Geographic Channel, and 'Footsteps of Thesiger' and 'In Inner Mongolia' for the Discovery Channel, with further projects in the pipeline. I also do voiceover work in a variety of commercial sectors. Before starting my own company in 2007, I was a Regional Sales Director for Airbus, based in France and the UAE, responsible for the sales of aircraft across the Middle East and West Asia; a regional sales manager in the power cables industry in the Middle East; and a British Army Gurkha officer, serving in Asia, the UK and Oman, learning both Arabic and Nepalese in my military career. Finally, I have been adventuring since my teens - in a semi-professional role from 2007-17 - during which I have accomplished some major expeditionary goals, incl. summitting the highest three mountains in the world (Everest, K2 and Kanchenjunga); trekking from respective coasts to both Poles; crossing the length of Greenland and crossing the Arabian Desert, setting two Guinness World Records in the process. All of my work follows the mantras of Kaizen (continuous development) and Ikigai (path & purpose).
