I'm currently Creative Director of Hummingbird Music, an exciting new music production label. Hummingbird helps chart the careers of three young artists, with a view to signing to major labels, and will participate in their onward success by virtue of rights retention. We are currently seeking investment; other than traditional financial involvement, investors will also be able to see, close at hand, the inner workings of the creative writing and production processes. The company is co-founded with Torsten Stenzel. Together we have had over twenty Top 40 hits worldwide, including several UK Top 10s - working with/for artists like Moby, Paul Oakenfold, Funkstar De Luxe, Chris Rea, and many others. For those for whom music is an interest and a passion, Hummingbird offers an exciting opportunity to explore the industry alongside established professionals, engage with the creative process and share in the success of the artists and their developing careers. I still oversee operations at Savannah Blue, which is a collective of genial and like-minded composer/producers who aim to provide superb music for the film, television and advertising industries. Having been signed as a songwriter by Universal UK, with nearly 400 record releases and several Gold/Platinum chart successes worldwide, I now focus on the Film and TV world, as this is where my real passion for music can be expressed. I take care of a small but excellent team of composers and between us we've composed / arranged music for 'Band Of Brothers' (Steven Spielberg), 'Survival WIth Ray Mears' (ITV), 'How To Look Good Naked', 'Celebrity Master Chef', and 'South Park', and Hollywood films 'Burning Palms' (Rosamunde Pike) and 'The Right Kind Of Wrong', among many others. Lucky enough to have been born and bred in Kenya but based in the UK, I'm always seeking opportunities in the Film, TV and commercial industries to provide wonderful music, composed by either myself or my talented affiliates.

In the pop world we've produced and written for Chris Rea, Moby, Paul Oakenfold, All Saints, Mike Oldfield and many others, and had over thirty Top 40 chart hits worldwide, including the UK. Film industry credits include 'Fire' (Gary Dourdan/CSI), 'Burning Palms' (Rosamunde Pike), 'The Right Kind Of Wrong' and 'Showing Roots' (due out Q1 2016). Classical arranging techniques and cutting-edge sound from the pop scene gives us a diversity of experience. From arranging music for Michael Kamen, to remixing Top 10 dance tracks for Ministry of Sound, we've composed and produced songs released by seven different X-Factor / Popstars winners worldwide, including France, Germany, Holland, Belgium and Japan. We love what we do, and hope this is reflected in the result.
