Accountable for all operations at Speeds Healthcare including our pharmacy and wholesale businesses, procurement, facilities management, IT and our national team of medicines management clinical pharmacists. Speeds specialises in supplying medicines management solutions to mental health hospitals and ophthalmic clinics. During my time at Speeds, I successfully led and implemented an organisation restructure achieving 15% cost savings. In addition, significant new buying profit was realised and service improvements were achieved through data analysis and team leadership.
Accountable for running all Pharmacy operations within LPCH across 5 teams based in 4 GPhC registered premises (Harlow x2 /Derby/Glasgow). Leading a team of 100+ professional colleagues working in highly regulated environments (GPhC, CQC, MHRA). Responsible for safe provision of homecare medicines to 100,000 patients under hospital-led care across UK. As well as achieving significant service level improvements, I was an active member of a multidisciplinary working group that created the thought leadership report - ‘Best Kept Secret: the value of Clinical Homecare to patients, the NHS and society’. This group consisted of homecare sector leaders working alongside health economics, regulatory, PR and NHS specialist colleagues.
