Adrian is one of the UK’s most experienced assessment and development consultants. Head of Assessment, EMEA at Korn/Ferry Whitehead Mann for five years through two M&As, he has assessed c.50 CEOs, is an experienced ExCo coach and team builder, transformed the assessment offering and has managed large global accounts. Starting life as a concert pianist and teacher at the Royal College of Music, Adrian switched careers in the late '80s and studied Psychology. His first consulting career role was in the Cabinet Office, where he launched the first Agency CEO assessment centers. During the early '90s recession, Adrian moved to 'the other side of the fence' and helped develop a highly regarded Adult Guidance Center providing careers and job seeking advice to executives facing redundancy and the unemployed. After periods as Head of Research at Corporate Psychologists International, Senior Consultant at Kiddy and Co. and running his own business, he joined Whitehead Mann in 1998. Whitehead Mann had just IPO'ed, and Adrian spent his first two years managing integration projects during the late ‘90s M&A boom. He has since worked with all sizes and types of businesses helping managers chart a path through start-up, growth, maturity and turnaround. He is a founding member of the BPS Division of Coaching.
