I’m a senior at Clarkstown South High School who’s passionate about education, leadership, and helping others learn. Whether I’m mentoring younger players as a varsity basketball captain, organizing fundraisers as Class Treasurer, or helping customers at my family’s restaurant, I’ve learned the importance of teamwork, patience, and communication. My goal is to become a high school social studies teacher — someone who makes history engaging and connects lessons to real life. I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand things in a way that actually sticks, not just memorizing notes. For the past six years, I’ve also helped run my family’s restaurant, which taught me responsibility, customer service, and how to stay calm under pressure. Those experiences shaped my leadership style and helped me value hard work and community. I’m excited to gain hands-on experience through an education internship this year and connect with teachers and professionals who share my passion for learning and mentorship.
