I am a third year undergraduate student studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Southampton.
Railway signalling project team (East Rail Line and Northern Line) - reviewed power and signal schematics and technical documentation on CBTC signalling system. - developed a program to analyse time-series train performance log data for future failure analysis. - shadowed in team operations which included checking circuitry in the signal room of 6 stations, static and dynamic train testing in depots, and reviewing test specification documents for compliance with international railway standard IEEE 1474.1.
- Conducted street-intercept shopper survey to target groups to help the research team to understand the shopping habits of customers in the catchment area. - Collected and recorded interview data for further analysis and formulation of leasing strategies.
- Assisted the centre manager in administrative work. - Prepared teaching and marketing materials. - Assisted in communication between staff and customers' conversations.
- Created a text-based role-playing game on Nemo Bot (a Messager chatbot) together with 3 other interns.
