About

Managing Director & Co-Owner at PharmaCode.DEV with over 20 years of experience in software development for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Since 2002, I have been involved in designing and developing specialized software solutions for the German pharmaceutical market, including prescription reimbursement, pharmaceutical knowledge bases, medical image processing, pharmacy management systems, German ePrescription (eRezept) solutions, and cytostatic drug reimbursement processes. My expertise also includes integration with hospital information systems through REST APIs and HL7 standards, enabling efficient data exchange across healthcare ecosystems. As a leader, I manage a dynamic team of software engineers focused on delivering tailor-made solutions that address complex business and regulatory requirements. At the same time, I remain deeply connected to the technical side of our projects. Despite my executive responsibilities, I still enjoy writing code whenever possible—software development has always been my passion, and I have no intention of giving it up. My technical background spans a wide range of technologies, including .NET (C#), Spring Boot, Delphi, C/C++, and database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Firebird. I am passionate about combining technical knowledge and leadership to create innovative software solutions that help pharmacies, healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical organizations operate more efficiently in an increasingly digital environment.
