About

I currently serve as a Senior Analyst for the Merchandise Execution Team at The Home Depot. In order to support thousands of associates in the field I utilize advanced problem solving and knowledge of real-world situations to build and implement various solutions. For field associates, I am able to build products that give them better information which helps teams run their stores more efficiently. For internal associates, I leverage SQL and ETL processes along with BI tools such as Tableau and MicroStrategy to deliver analysis on company data. I have a strong passion of end-to-end systems and enjoy learning and continuous development. I acquired a B.S. in Computer Engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University and have had the opportunity to work on major engineering projects such as the F-35 JSF (Joint Strike Fighter, Lockheed). I am currently enrolled in the Data Science and Analytics certification course from Georgia Institute of Technology. This certification has improved my ability to analyze large datasets outside of SQL by using Python and R. Through my background, I have a demonstrated history of building and implementing products that support multiple users. These projects include some of the following tasks: data cleansing, validation and testing; computer programming; ETL design; schema architecture; developing and improving reports; data and report security; forming and delivering presentations; and training.
