I am an Australian geologist with over 40 years diversified experience in the mining industry, including exploration, project development and operations. Mineral Exploration continues to be my passion. I have been a member of teams that made gold discoveries in Papua New Guinea, Western Australia, Suriname, Nunavut and Yukon, Canada. I established Underworld Resources in 2006, a TSX listing, that was acquired by Kinross Gold for $130 million. I was a founding Director of Northern Empire Resources which was acquired by Coeur Mining in 2018 for $117 million. I am a Director of three TSX.V listed companies; Reunion Gold, StrikePoint Gold and Precipitate Gold which are working in the gold exploration space. The location of their activities includes, Guyana, Nevada, British Columbia and the Democratic Republic . I am a very hands on Director with an enviable spectrum of experience in the gold exploration space. A recent highlight for me has been my involvement as a Director and the only geologist on the Board of Reunion Gold Corp. Reunion's predecessor Golden Star Resources were instrumental in the definition of gold resources at Omai, Guyana, and Gross Rosebel, Suriname. However Reunion's 2020 greenfields drill discovery at Oko West in Guyana eclipses its previous successes. Following only 4 years of drilling a deposit totalling 5.9 million ounces at 2.2 grams per tonne gold has been defined. Gold production is expected by 2017. An unparalleled success story and in an unprecedently short time frame. Greenheart Gold is the successor company to Reunion Gold which merged with G Mining Ventures in June 2024. Reunion's grass roots discovery, the Oko West gold deposit in Guyana, occurred in 2001 and by mid 2024 had defined a high grade gold deposit of around 6 M ounces with a grade of 2 g/t Au. G Mining has commenced construction of the mine at Oko West which will produce gold in late 2027, just 7 years since the discovery drill holes. Oko west is a tier one orogenic gold deposit. Many of the Reunion Gold team that made the Oko West discovery have gone on to work for Greenheart Gold (GRHT) Greenheart is exploring in Suriname and Guiana with the goal of finding another large gold deposit.
Strikepoint's focus is gold exploration in Nevada. CEO Mike Allen has significant Nevada experience including Northern Empire which was sold to Coeur Mining. The company holds the Cuprite prospect which is believed to be similar to Anglo Gold's Silicon deposit and the hercules gold project near Reno Strikepoint also holds a silver and a gold property in the 'Golden Triangle' of British Columbia.
