Work alongside risk assurance team to perform a detailed review of the operations and internal control systems to identify weaknesses in the system and to give recommendations for improvement. Worked with PwC Abu Dhabi in Assurance department as an Assistant Manager and I was mainly involved in the audit of Telecommunication, Consumer Retail and Group of Aerospace and Defense companies. Main responsibilities were: Effective management of audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risks and accounting technical matters. Manage a team of 5-6 people and report directly to Senior Managers and Directors/Partners. Liaise with component auditors based in other territories and review their reporting deliverables.
