I’ve been fortunate to spend my career building alongside extraordinary people. Starting up in Hyderabad and scaling from there to global operations, the journey has been shaped by curiosity, resilience and the belief that good teams can do remarkable things. Each venture carried its own purpose. MediaMint created opportunities at scale by building world class teams in India. Zippr tackled the simple yet fundamental challenge of addressing. Doosra gave people control over their privacy in a digital first world. These experiences taught me the power of clarity, persistence and community in shaping enduring companies. Today, through VCMint, I continue to back early stage founders who are taking on ambitious problems with the same spirit. What drives me has not changed: a deep respect for builders and the joy of helping ideas take shape and endure. And the most exciting part is that the story is still unfolding.
Co-founded CDSW with Dr. Anil Rachamalla to address the widening gap between India's rapid digital adoption and the absence of structured education around digital safety, ethics, and wellbeing. CDSW is a Section 8 (not-for-profit) national platform operating across three pillars - Educate, Engage, Elevate - to build India's digital wellbeing standards.
• Founded and led MediaMint, transforming it into a global leader in ad operations. • Successfully bootstrapped the company, achieving a strategic exit to private equity in 2023. • Leveraged 15+ years of entrepreneurial experience to identify and invest in early-stage ventures.
Partnering and working with Online media companies including ad networks, large content portals and DSPs to provide managed advertising services (Ad Operations, Publisher support, reporting and analytics), product strategy consulting and software application layers for Ad servers. Media Mint has developed successful partnerships with large content publishers, video, mobile and display ad networks offering media planning and services to Fortune 1000 companies to run successful online campaigns.
Introduced Zippr’s 8-character smart-address code and guided product strategy from concept to nationwide adoption. Partnered with governments to launch Digital Door Number (DDN), now live for 4M+ homes in 116 cities and integrated into utilities, tax and emergency-response systems. Hired and led cross-functional product, engineering and ops teams; secured marquee logistics, e-commerce and food-delivery clients.
I started Doosra in 2020 with a simple promise: everyone deserves a secondary phone number they can share without worrying about spam or privacy breaches. I built the app, negotiated with telcos, and making sure the “always-blocked” second line felt effortless for users. When new DoT regulations made the business untenable, I chose transparency—announcing a 31 March 2024 shutdown and issuing refunds before locking the doors. It wasn’t the ending I’d hoped for, but it reinforced why I’m so passionate about pushing India’s privacy tech forward.
