I am a final year B. Tech. student pursuing Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence at IIIT Delhi. I am a researcher at SBILab, working on mitigation of gender bias in translation systems. I am also a competitive programmer with a Specialist title on Codeforces. I have a keen interest in Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
• Co-authored a paper detailing the dataset, benchmarking, and a novel evaluation metric, currently under review at an ACL conference. • Conducted research under Dr. Anubha Gupta to build a lightweight text-to-text translation system from gender-neutral to gendered languages with accurate speaker gender representation. • Created a specialized dataset for morphologically rich languages with 20,000+ parallel samples; managed data generation, annotation, validation, and led a team of 10+ interns. • Benchmarked 15 multilingual models across Hindi, French, and Arabic using prompt engineering, zero-shot learning, and finetuning with Huggingface, Unsloth, VLLMs, OpenAI API, and Google GenAI.
