With a deep-rooted passion for environmental conservation and social empowerment, I co-founded Srishti: Ganga Prahari Environmental and Welfare Society, an organization dedicated to creating meaningful change. As a Ganga Prahari, I actively work on river conservation, wildlife protection, and sustainability awareness, striving to restore and protect the delicate ecosystem of the Ganga River. My efforts extend beyond environmental work to social empowerment, particularly focusing on women and marginalized communities. Through Srishti and collaborations with various NGOs, I support underprivileged children by providing educational opportunities and work towards women’s empowerment through livelihood programs and menstrual health education. As a public speaker and menstrual educator, I aim to break stigmas, encourage open conversations, and advocate for inclusive, sustainable solutions. By combining environmental conservation with social initiatives, I am committed to fostering long-term change and building a better, more sustainable future for all.
Delivered training sessions on communication, personality development, teamwork, and confidence building. Conducted interactive activities, group discussions, and real-life exercises to enhance participants’ interpersonal and professional skills. Focused on improving public speaking, problem-solving, and overall personality development.
As a Program Manager at Srishti, I lead and coordinate grassroots programs focused on environmental conservation, community engagement, and sustainable livelihoods. •Spearheading river conservation campaigns under National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), focusing on biodiversity protection (Gangetic dolphins, turtles, birds) and plastic-free initiatives. •Mobilizing youth and school students through awareness drives, painting competitions, and clean-up activities to build ecological consciousness. •Supported women artisans by motivating them to participate in exhibitions and helping them set up stalls to showcase and sell their handmade eco-friendly products, thereby promoting income generation and local entrepreneurship •Coordinating with stakeholders, including government departments, NGOs, and local institutions, to ensure smooth program execution and impact reporting. •Managing community stalls during exhibitions and fairs like Manjusha Mahotsav, enabling women artisans to showcase and sell their products. •Leading menstrual hygiene awareness sessions and pad distribution drives in rural and slum areas. I believe in community-first, action-based leadership and building sustainable models that solve real problems at the grassroots.
