Penultimate-Year LLB | Legal Intern (Baker McKenzie, Ravindran) | Open to Legal Internships & Opportunities

About

I’m a penultimate-year Law student at the University of Birmingham with a strong interest in intellectual property, international arbitration, and corporate law. Curious and driven, I’m still exploring the breadth of legal practice — but currently leaning toward a future as a barrister. I’ve interned at Baker McKenzie Wong & Leow and Ravindran Associates LLP in Singapore, where I contributed to high-value intellectual property and technology matters. From conducting legal research to drafting documentation and identifying case risks, these roles gave me practical insight into how legal frameworks operate across borders. Outside the classroom, I’ve actively pursued opportunities to build leadership, advocacy, and collaboration skills — from organising a TEDx event, coaching youth basketball, and producing a full-length drama production, to working with Books Beyond Borders to support education in rural Nepal. At university, I’m a member of the Holdsworth Club and am actively involved in mooting to sharpen my oral advocacy and legal reasoning. I believe that challenges are opportunities in disguise — as George Washington put it, “The harder the conflict, the greater the triumph.” I’m keen to connect with legal professionals, engage in meaningful conversations, and explore opportunities for internships, mentoring, or hands-on legal experience that will deepen my understanding of the law in action.
