About

I am a tech lover who has developed a passion for web development because of it's ever-changing nature, puzzle-solving feel, and generally just how much cool things there are out on the web. As of thus far, I am experienced in JavaScript, NodeJS, HTML5, CSS3, React, Express, Socket.io, MySQL/Sequelize, jQuery, and Git/Github. This list will be ever-growing as I plan to immerse myself into the new and limitless technologies that are out there for development. I have worked mainly as a tech specialist that is very customer-facing through meeting with clients, providing solutions/workflows, and integrating many teams to either fix an issue, upgrade an application or process, or build an application to make a process more efficient. My work experience thus far has allowed me to identify ways to make an application better, view a project in its entirety in seeing how all components fit with one another to encompass a final product, communicate effectively with many different roles in a company no matter the experience or the background, and quickly understand what customers are looking for even if they may not know it themselves. I feel very comfortable working in environments where I can fulfill many different roles and freely share my opinions with other coworkers. I prefer being in a team environment because knowledge can be shared and it is just generally more fun to work together than alone. Colleagues know me as a very affable person who is willing to help and also not afraid to ask for information. I like to take my time in understanding the business and processes, but I am generally very fast in picking up new technologies and becoming proficient with software. Working in many different kinds of industries and companies has allowed me to be adaptable to many different environments as well as instilling a sense of fun in what I do. I was tasked with being the main contact for customer integration with eOriginal software, from consulting with clients to determine the best workflow for their businesses to training them on eOriginal API. I worked closely with both developers and business leads to make the integration process as smooth as possible by providing everything necessary as well as suggest best practices to develop a seamless electronic signature experience using the customer solution. I worked closely with the Vice President of Customer Service as well as the general support team from providing more technical help to improving the overall product through noticing possible improvements in the software and customer feedback. From a development standpoint, I was responsible for building multiple utilities in PHP to automate customer workflow as well as creating demos for sales and business development to show potential customers. I also maintained the REST API website by modifying HTML and Javascript. I also became the resident Excel and SharePoint expert at the office and helped coworkers build sites and create efficient automated spreadsheets. My successes include contributing to eOriginal's highly satisfied customer base as well as providing great customer service that led to many cases of direct customer contact.
